E-prescription for effective marketing: 10 years of enel-med x Bluerank collaboration

Over a decade of collaboration, we’ve built enel-med’s digital brand presence and co-created its digital evolution. It’s been ten years of challenges, learning, and shared success — but also the development of a long-term partnership that led to two nominations at the European Search Awards. We’ve always played on the same digital team.

To fully leverage enel-med’s digital potential: 

  • As a Google partner, we continuously tested new features, even in beta 
  • We provided full analytical support to measure results and optimize campaigns effectively 
  • Together, we developed enel-med’s digital presence strategy

Using Google Ads and other advertising tools — Programmatic, Bing Ads, and Criteo Ads — we supported the growth of enel-med, enel-sport, Estell, and Willa Łucja. 

Guided by the Customer Journey concept, we precisely analyzed the patient’s path to select the most effective marketing tools. Continuous strategy optimization and the implementation of new technologies — especially with the rise of teleconsultations and the enel-med app — drove ongoing project growth and increasing budgets, averaging 20% annually for Google Ads. 

United Against the Pandemic: A Digital Revolution in Crisis 

The COVID-19 pandemic forced immediate operational changes in medical facilities. Together with enel-med, we rose to the challenge, focusing on promoting teleconsultations and the mobile app. The results were spectacular: 

  • A 194% increase in key conversions 
  • A 60% drop in cost 
  • 60% more app downloads at a lower cost

This not only boosted brand awareness and service sales for enel-med but, most importantly, ensured patients had safe access to essential medical care. 

Analytics Are the Foundation of Digital Marketing… and We Know It! 

For a decade, Bluerank’s analytics team supported enel-med by implementing tracking events and ensuring accurate result measurement. This allowed us to report reliably and give the client full insight into budget allocation effectiveness. We also developed a proprietary script to track call center sales, delivering precise data. Weekly status updates and a transparent approach built trust, while data synergy and engagement were key to our shared success. 

Change? We’ve Got This! 

Since January 1, 2023, the medical marketing industry has faced new, strict regulations. Bluerank, in cooperation with a law firm, immediately implemented necessary changes to ensure full compliance. One major challenge was the ban on Google Ads remarketing. 

In response, we created a new, ethical, and legally compliant remarketing strategy based on Criteo Ads. Additionally, in April 2023, we launched individual campaign accounts for specific enel-med areas: B2B/B2C packages, dentistry, enel-sport, and Estell. 

Thanks to Criteo, between April 2023 and April 2025, we reached over 6 million unique users and displayed ads more than 22 million times. This proves that even under legal constraints, it’s possible to build strong patient relationships and achieve impressive business results.
