Bluerank for the 50^th anniversary of Amnesty International

Amnesty International celebrates its 50 years of existence by introducing a wide range of digital products. Bluerank supports these initiatives in terms of using web analytics.

Amnesty International is an international movement of people who work for humanity and the human rights. The organization has over 3 million members and followers in over 150 countries and regions. To mark the 50^th anniversary of Amnesty International, there has been prepared a wide range of digital products, including special widgets that allow to collect signatures for the petitions from the human rights supporters all over the world. The solution has been prepared centrally, but it is being implemented locally by Amnesty International in particular countries. Widgets have been integrated with social media and the EarthCandle web application.

Bluerank is responsible for the analytical support of the project by means of preparing some specifications on the basis of Google Analytics, which allow to track the Internet users making use of widgets. The co-operation in this field includes the proper implementation of the new tracking code, preparing key performance indicators, defining the stored data format and verifying the way the tool works. "Thanks to Bluerank’s support we’re able to monitor the interactions taking place within widgets. We track users’ activity, analyze the web forms and error reports. We can recognize what actions the users undertake and what petitions are the most interesting to them", concludes Piotr Poznanski, the information architect at the International Secretariat of Amnesty International in London.
